All of our Calendars are always updated with the current year automatically. Every July, our Calendar Gnomes refresh our calendars with the next years dates so no matter when you purchase a calendar it will be relevant.

Adding a date to the cover of a calendar certainly adds to the professionalism to the design, as most, if not all calendars sold have the dates on the covers.

With deviantART, the images will stay in our Prints Shop year after year, so while the calendar may have the correct dates and year on the inside, the calendar cover may show a previous years date. Unfortunately, this may lead to confusion with potential buyers concerning the product they may receive.

Here are two current examples of 2014 calendar products.

Both are beautiful examples of what we have in our shop and both also have this years date on them.

When July 2014 hits, which it will invariably do, the 2014 dates will no longer be accurate. We at deviantART suggest that you update the calendar dates to the current year each July or as summer ends, to make sure that you have the correct dates for this years calendar product.

Editing a print is easy. On your deviation, simply click the Edit Print button.

At the top of the Prints Edit page, you will see a row of tabs. Click the very far right one, labelled Calendars.

From there you can edit the cover image to update it to the current year. :)

Make sure that the Checkbox remains checked on the Calendar page, as shown on the above image on the bottom left. That checkbox is what will enable the product in our shop.

If you wish to keep a reference on the cover that this is a previous years collection, here are a few ideas.

2014 CALENDAR

Series 1, 2, 3... etc etc.
If you have multiple years, numbering them as a series will let customers know easily that you have many more calendars to offer. Other people may wish to collect the whole series.

This by no means mandatory. Prints will not be rejected if a previous years date is on them. This is a suggestion that could help ease confusion with buyers and help get you more sales. :)

Aside from the two calendars listed above, we have many more beautiful calendars in our shop.
