FOA- Temple by renonevada FOA- Temple by renonevada
This is a piece of my new drawing, a huge Indiana Jones piece from the old game 'The Fate of Atlantis.'

Micron .005 for the temple and brush for the hot air balloon.

Really nice, you can see you spent a lot of time and effort. The detail on the temple is terrific.

The detail on the temple is nothing short of extraordinary, you've done that really well. I'm not sure what you filled the sky with though, it almost looks like a solid surface. And, I'm assuming that's Indy off in the lower left corner there, it would be great if he were better defined, but I like the faded appearance of the linework there, it really feels like he's a good distance from the temple and out of focus. Not bad...not bad at all.

Wow, I love that shrubbary. I love how gradure it feels, too. Beautiful work--and I see a bit of sketchy Indy in the corner. ;p
Great work, Reno.

:wow: Bloody heck! I would never have the patience to sit down and do this! Awesome shading and perspective. Also, is that a shoulder in the bottom left???? Cuz it seems a bit ambiguous otherwise...

Darn, if only Indy had the hot air balloon in Tikal, he wouldn't have to had chased the jungle rodent to its' death with the giant python....

Hey, I remember that game. Was that by Sierra?

Anyway, you did an excellent job with the details on the temple's growth. Do you plan to do any cross-hatching to add more depth to the finished piece?

Also, the sky bothers me. It looks like a field of hedgehogs and not so much like a sky. Otherwise, I really look forward to seeing the completed work. May your hand be steady! =P

It was Lucasarts. ;) But back then Sierra and Lucasarts were the top two of adventure games. Yeah, the good ol days. =p

I'm not sure if I'm going to do anymore hatching on this part of the drawing. Whenever I get into crosshatching, I seem to get carried away. =p
