Works in photoshop to create quality word balloons. Here's the first page after I refined the process to look like what I have here so you can see better how it looks. [link] The other 5 pages I lettered are essentially the same thing, just without step 3.

Thank you, but how do you merge the paths? They don't merge when I do this, and I end up with a terrible set of shapes. What are you doing to make them into a single shape? Merging layers does not work. (send the reply as a note, please)

haha I'm glad other people think it's good, too. I used to use illustrator because that's what some pro tutorial said was the way but I can't stand illustrator.

Same with me mate; I guess I've learn to do most of things in Photoshop. Lately I'm using corel Painter 11 for the lineart 'cause you can freely rotate the canvas, but some people told me that you can do that too in PS CS4, but I've got CS.
